Northern Illinois was struck by yet another snowstorm Saturday night into Sunday morning, with areas near the Wisconsin state line receiving the most accumulation.
But the snow isn't over yet, according to the National Weather Service . The winter wonderland is expected to continue, with more snow forecast later this week in the Chicagoland area.

How much snow did Illinois get this weekend?
Northern Illinois received the brunt of the snow, with cities north of I-80 getting between two and seven inches.
Here's how much snow the following cities received between Dec. 6 and 7, according to the NWS:
Sleepy Hollow: 7.1 inches
Capron: 7 inches
Oregon: 7 inches
Lindenhurst: 7 inches
Greenwood: 6.9 inches
Elgin: 6.6 inches
Chicago O'Hare Airport: 4.8 inc
