After the recent and surprising new limited-time ticket deal by Disneyland , the theme-park company has now made rule changes to its popular Disability Access Service program (DAS) at its California (Disneyland) and Florida (Disney World) theme parks.

Under the new rules, guests applying for a pass for the Disability Access Service program must undergo a video interview with a Disney employee and a contracted medical professional to confirm eligibility. Those found to have lied in the interview will be permanently banned from the parks.

Disabled Disney fans have argued Disney's DAS criteria are far too restrictive and are pressing their case through both a federal lawsuit and a shareholder proposal aimed at broadening eligibility.
