The Central University of Punjab has taken a significant step toward environmental conservation with the installation of a paper recycling machine on its campus — a small yet powerful move under its Green Campus Initiative, reinforcing the university’s commitment to sustainability and responsible waste management.

The unit located in ‘Waste to Health Centre’ was inaugurated by Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. Raghavendra P. Tiwari in the presence of Registrar Dr. Vijay Sharma.

Speaking on the occasion, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Tiwari stated that sustainable practices adopted within educational institutions play a crucial role in shaping environmentally conscious citizens and inspiring society to prioritize ecological responsibility.
