As Newcastle United remain on course to defend it this season, after their historic win at Wembley in March, the Carab ao Cup will be at a well known shop in North Shields this week. And it will be there for a perfect photo opportunity for fans on the eve of Derby Day.

Having failed to win a major domestic trophy in 70 years, NUFC were hoping to put an end to their seven decade silverware drought against Liverpool at Wembley earlier this year and what materialised is a day that will live long in the memory of the Magpies fans who were lucky enough to be in the ground, the many who headed to London to soak up the atmosphere and others who packed out bars, pubs and fan zones back in the Toon.
