IndiGo CEO Pieter Elbers and COO Isidre Porqueras have filed replies to the show cause notices issued by the aviation safety regulator DGCA over the airline's massive flight disruptions. The two top executives of the airline were given until 6 pm on Monday to file replies to the notices.

IndiGo has told the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) that the large-scale disruptions and flight cancellations seen across its network were the result of an “unfortunate and unforeseeable confluence” of multiple operational factors, while expressing “profuse” regret to passengers affected over the past week.
