GREEN BAY — Matt LaFleur chose his words carefully until he couldn’t do it anymore.

Having watched his star pass rusher, Micah Parsons, be hogtied on multiple occasions during Sunday’s 28-21 victory over the Chicago Bears, the Green Bay Packers head coach bit his tongue at first, even going so far as to acknowledge what a “difficult job” officials have.

Then, though, he cracked.

“I guess I don’t know what holding is anymore,” LaFleur said.

There appeared to be at least two plays on which Bears right tackle Darnell Wright wrapped his arm around Parsons’ throat to impede him from getting to quarterback Caleb Williams. But neither play drew a flag from referee Craig Wrolstad’s crew.
