Investigators have made 13 arrests, and two suspects are still wanted, York police said at the news conference announcing the results of a months-long investigation on Monday morning.

The investigation, dubbed “Project Wrangler,” began in the spring after a series of violent attacks in southern and eastern Ontario, and in Quebec, police said in a news release.

Among those attacks were incidents of murder, attempted murders and armed robberies, investigators said.

York police Chief Jim MacSween and superintendent Simon James were present at the news conference, which was held outside of York police headquarters at 10 a.m.

More to come.
