Nuclear power is a bad idea. It isn’t clean, or “green”, but dangerous, expensive and inefficient. There is no permanent solution to the problem of nuclear waste or the risks.

So, insurance companies don’t want to insure nuclear power plants. The people of the United States will have to foot the bill for the next catastrophe — whether it’s accidental or an attack.

Solar, wind, and tide energy solutions have been progressing even faster than has nuclear energy, and are cleaner, safe, and cheaper.

Dozens of U.S. cities and counties are nuclear-free zones. There is no reason states can’t do that as well.
