WILLIAMSTON, S.C. —
An Anderson County, South Carolina, couple has died of carbon monoxide poisoning while trying to stay warm, according to the coroner's office.
The Anderson County Coroner's Office said they were called about 7 p.m. Sunday to a mobile home on Joe Black Road after a man and woman were found dead.

The coroner said a preliminary investigation shows the couple was living inside the mobile home that did not have electricity. They were using a generator inside a bedroom to power a heater, the coroner's office said.
The cause of death for both is carbon monoxide poisoning and the deaths have been ruled accidental.
The names of the victims are not being released until family has been notified.
