Mohamed Salah's future at Liverpool is looking increasing uncertain after he was left out of the squad for the Champions League tie against Inter Milan. Salah rocked the boat on Saturday by openly criticising Arne Slot's decision to leave him on the bench for the last three games - and the club have now responded.
The 33-year-old has played just 45 minutes of Liverpool's last three Premier League matches after Slot opted to drop him. He sat out of the 2-0 win over West Ham , played the second half of the 1-1 draw against Sunderland and was again unused in the 3-3 draw against Leeds on the weekend.
Salah decided to voice his displeasure to reporters at Elland Road, claiming he had been "thrown under the bus" by Slot, with whom he no longer had a relationship. The Egypt star,
