It's official: awards season is here. And one of the biggest events of the season, the Golden Globes, has just announced its illustrious class of 2026 nominees. Spotlighting the best and brightest across movies and television — and, for the first time in the show's history, podcasts — categories, this year's nominations were announced on Monday, Dec. 8 by Marlon Wayans and Skye P. Marshall.

And, unsurprisingly, some of the year's buzziest films are in contention: Paul Thomas Anderson's "One Battle After Another" leads the pack with nine nominations, including Best Picture, Best Director and Best Actor for star Leonardo DiCaprio.
