Monday starts off snowy and frigid
Winter Weather Advisories across the Bluegrass remain in effect through the early afternoon. Snow will continue to fall, accumulating to a few tenths of an inch in most places, up to 0.5″ – 1.0″ in a few areas. Roadways may become slick in some spots, especially on bridges and overpasses. Wind will be gusty through the late morning, keeping the feels-like temperatures in the teens. Winds calm by the afternoon, and we will feel closer to our actual air temperatures, which will still only be near freezing.
The evening commute will see better conditions, but could still have minor impacts. Road temperatures will be cold and so slick spots will be able to remain.
