Helen George, best known for her role as Nurse Trixie Franklin in Call the Midwife , has confessed to being nervous about meeting a fellow cast member.
At 41, Helen has been portraying Nurse Trixie Franklin on the popular BBC drama since its inception in 2012 and is set to return for a double festive special on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
The eagerly awaited new episodes promise an exciting overseas plot as the nuns and nurses undertake a rescue mission.
Set in 1971, the episode is likely to begin with Fred (Cliff Parisi) and Violet Buckle (Annabelle Apsion) departing Poplar, East London, for Hong Kong to celebrate Christmas with her son, Derek (Nicholas Atkinson).
