The Steelers got some help from the officials in Sunday’s 27-22 win at Baltimore. That much is certain. The question is: Was the help deserved?
The NFL did its best after the game to explain two calls the replay booth reversed in the Steelers’ favor and a penalty that gave the Steelers a first down at the Ravens’ 6-yard line after a made field goal.
All were critical in the game’s outcome. The most devastating to Baltimore came with under three minutes to play and wiped out what would have been the go-ahead touchdown.
