SRINAGAR : Renowned Kashmiri poet, storyteller, and critic Yousuf Jahangeer has been selected to represent the Kashmiri language at the National Symposium of Poets 2026, an annual event organised by Prasar Bharati on the eve of Republic Day. Akashvani has chosen one poet from each of the twenty-two scheduled Indian languages for what is being described as the world’s largest poetic symposium.
