Mohamed Salah will not travel with Liverpool to face Inter Milan, the club has confirmed.

Liverpool could climb back into the automatic qualification places with a win at the San Siro, but, despite participating in open training before the side’s departure , Salah will play no part in the match.

The Egyptian is in a stand-off with the club after he hit out at Arne Slot ’s selection decisions in a bombshell interview after Liverpool’s 3-3 draw with Leeds on Saturday .

The Egyptian was left out of the starting line-up at Elland Road for the third consecutive match and did not come off the bench.
