Prime Minister Narendra Modi has welcomed the commencement of the 20th Session of UNESCO’s Committee on Intangible Cultural Heritage, which began in New Delhi on Monday. The event has drawn delegates from more than 150 countries, united in their mission to safeguard and promote living cultural traditions worldwide.

The Prime Minister said India is honoured to host this significant global forum, especially at the historic Red Fort. He noted that the venue and the occasion together highlight India’s long-standing commitment to celebrating culture and using it as a bridge between societies and generations.
