Voting is free. The winner will be announced on Dec. 12. Here are this week’s nominees:

Jaheim Cole, Dover indoor track and field: Cole won the 55-meter dash and long jump and placed second in triple jump at the Ed Bowie Invitational in Landover, Maryland. Cole's time in the 55 – 6.41 – is tied for the sixth on the state all-time performance list.

Mason Collins, Tatnall boys basketball: Collins averaged 16 points and 11 rebounds in wins over Salesianum and MOT Charter.

Abigail Dilworth, Charter of Wilmington girls swimming and diving: Dilworth won the 20
