Deadline on Monday launched the streaming site for Contenders Film: International, its annual awards showcase that this year spotlighted 14 buzzy films submitted to the Oscar International Feature Film race .

Among the writer-directors and castmembers who participated in panel conversations were Park Chan-wook with No Other Choice (South Korea), Cherien Dabis for All That’s Left of You (Jordan), Petra Volpe and star Leonie Benesch with Late Shift (Switzerland), Agnieszka Holland for Franz (Poland), Hasan Hadi for The President’s Cake (Iraq) and Shai Carmeli-Pollak for The Sea (Israel).
