With just days to go until the first league derby between Newcastle and Sunderland in years, a popular bar on Tyneside has confirmed its plans to become a huge Toon Zone for the big game. And it looks set to have quite an atmosphere as hundreds of fans head there to cheer on United.

As soon as the fixtures for the 2026/6 were announced in June, supporters immediately looked for the two derbies, as newly promoted Sunderland take on their fierce rivals in the Premiership for the first time since their relegation in 2017.
