The city of Fort Wayne and Greater Fort Wayne Inc. have scheduled a public forum about the local Google data center for 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, officials announced today.

"The forum is informational only and is not a public hearing where any decisions will be made," the news release said.

Officials are prepared for a large crowd because they are holding the session at the Grand Wayne Center in Anthony Wayne Ballroom A, 120 W. Jefferson Blvd.

The format includes an informational presentation from Google, Indiana Michigan Power and City Utilities representatives. Afterward, the public may submit questions via their smart phones. Index cards and pencils also will be available for those who want to submit written questions.
