Following the positive results of the faceless e-challan system in Karachi, IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon has decided to expand the initiative to seven districts of Sindh.
The decision was made after a meeting held at the Central Police Office in Karachi, chaired by Memon, and attended by key officials, including Additional IGs, the DG of the Safe City Authority and various police officers.
During the meeting, participants were briefed on preparations for implementing the face-less e-ticketing system in other cities. The Traffic DIG Karachi and PDITT provided detailed updates on the preparation for deploying the TRACS system (Traffic Road Accident and Control System) and the installation of cameras in various districts.
The first phase of the expansion will begin in the districts of Thatta
