SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - The Southold Dance Theater wrapped up its production of “The Nutcracker” after three performances at the Morris Performing Arts Center this weekend, and WNDU’s Caroline Klapp had the honor of playing a small role in the company’s 44th performance of it!
Caroline rode out on the stage in a sleigh as Mother Christmas during the Sunday afternoon show!
The Southold “Nutcracker” story captures the spirit of South Bend and is based around the Studebaker family! The scenery of the show featured historic South Bend landmarks.
More than 300 community members, including many local children, participated, and a professional dancer with Sarasota ballet flew in to star as the Nutcracker.
