Capital Region woman arrested for allegedly throwing an unopened can of soda, striking another individual in the face, and causing physical injuries.

If you were to be struck in the face with an unopened can of soda, the impact could cause cuts, bruising, eye injuries, facial fractures, and possibly lead to a concussion. In other words, when used incorrectly, an unopened can of soda could be considered a dangerous weapon.

On Friday December 5th at approximately 11pm, the Saratoga County Sheriffs Office responded to a call regarding a possible active domestic assault incident in the town of Moreau.

Police officers arrived to the scene on Gansevoort Road and conducted an investigation. Officers believe that a female suspect allegedly threw an unopened can of soda
