New Delhi, Dec 8: Jammu and Kashmir has a total of 11 air quality monitoring stations operational under the National Clean Air Programme (NCAP), the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change has informed the Lok Sabha.

As per official data, Jammu has six manual monitoring stations, Srinagar with five stations including Continuous Ambient Air Quality Monitoring System (CAAQMS) and four manual stations. These stations are being used by the J&K Pollution Control Committee to track ambient air quality across both cities.
