LINCOLN, Neb. ( Huskers.com ) - For the first time since 2018, the Nebraska men’s basketball team in is the Associated Press poll, as the unbeaten Huskers are ranked No. 23 in Monday’s poll.
The Huskers are 9-0 on the season following Sunday’s 71-50 win over Creighton and have won 13 straight games dating back to last season. The Huskers’ 9-0 start is the program’s best since the 1977-78 season, and NU can match the program’s best start in school history on Wednesday in the Big Ten opener against Wisconsin (7-2. 1-0 Big Ten).
Nebraska’s No. 23 ranking is the program’s highest ranking since Nov. 17, 2014, when the Huskers were ranked No. 21 in the AP Poll.
