COLLETON COUNTY, S.C. —

Eight arrests have been made in connection to a series of drive-by shootings that authorities say "have generated significant concern and fear" in a South Carolina community.

The investigation centered in Colleton County, but involved several agencies.

Detectives said they recently identified and charged six adults and two juveniles as part of the case.

Authorities said during the investigation they secured 37 felony warrants and recovered evidence connecting the suspects to ten separate incidents, with additional evidence linked to six more cases.

The following items were seized:

22 firearms

More than 1,5000 rounds of ammunition

4 stolen vehicles

42 grams of meth

502 grams of marijuana

2 grams of crack cocaine
