Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver DK Metcalf did not return home with the team after Sunday's 27-22 win over the Baltimore Ravens . After he experienced stomach pains on the team's flight, team personnel sent him back to Baltimore, where he visited a local hospital and spent the night in a hotel. The Steelers confirmed that they sent Metcalf to the hospital out of an abundance of caution and said the standout receiver will return to Pittsburgh today.

Metcalf played a critical role in the Steelers' victory with seven catches for a game-high 148 yards. Both numbers marked season bests for the first-year Steeler, who had yet to log double digit catches in a game since joining the team.
