Three Guelph men were handed impaired charges within 24 hours in separate collisions.
The first incident occurred at about 2:15 a.m. on Saturday, when police were called to the scene of a four-vehicle collision on Elizabeth Street. According to Guelph police, a man was driving at a high rate of speed and lost control of the vehicle, mounted the curb and hit three parked vehicles.
Police said the driver was unconscious and had an odour of alcohol on his breath. He was taken to hospital and a blood sample was taken for further analysis.
A search of the vehicle turned up a glass jar containing suspected cocaine, as well as empty baggies and a scale. Police also learned the man was on conditions not to contact a woman who was present in the vehicle during the collision and that they had bee
