Dramatic body camera footage shows a Florida police officer rescuing a family's dog from a burning home and bringing it back to life.
The video released by the Sanford Police Department shows officers responding to the Dec. 2 house fire where the adults and children were able to get to safety.
But after learning the family dog was still inside, an Officer Pagan went in the burning home to search for it.
The dog appeared lifeless from smoke inhalation but the officer pulled it out of the home in its crate.
He starts giving the dog oxygen and water as it slowly starts to wake up.
After about 30 minutes, the dog was able to hold its head up, to the relief of the family.
"Dogs are family, man," the officer told a family member in the video. "They love unconditionally."
