THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A total of 1.32 crore voters in seven districts of Kerala will go to the booths today in the local body elections. The election will take place in Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Idukki and Ernakulam, which were included in the first phase. There are 36,630 candidates and 15,432 polling stations. Of these, 480 booths are problematic. Voting will be from 7 am to 6 pm on Wednesday. Among the candidates, 17,056 are men. 19,573 are women. One is transgender.
