Florida authorities have accused two teenage boys of luring a girl into the woods to kill her — allegedly over “hurtful” comments she had made online.
Santa Rosa County Sheriff Bob Johnson held a Thursday, December 4, briefing with reporters on the murder of Danika Troy, who was last seen by her mother on November 30.
Troy, 14, was reported missing the next day. The search for the missing teen ended around 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 2, when Troy was found dead in a wooded area of Pace, Florida.
Johnson called the murder “horrific,” noting the girl was shot to death before her remains were set on fire.
Johnson said investigators quickly identified Kimahri Blevins, 14, and Gabriel Williams, 16, as the alleged killers, and charged both with first-degree premeditated murder. According to
