LEXINGTON - The lights at Kroger Field shined brightly on the Pulaski County Maroons on Saturday night, as they took on the Owensboro Red Devils in the 2025 Class 5A UK Healthcare Sports Medicine State Football Finals.

A good contingent of Maroon faithful showed up to not only greet the Maroons as they got off the bus, but to cheer loud and proud for them on the field. Despite staying right with the Devils for the first quarter and causing multiple turnovers, Pulaski was outscored 28-0 over the remaining three quarters and fell in their state championship appearance 35-7.
