It’s that time of year again — the holiday buzz is in full swing across Utah. From dazzling lights to decorated trees, the season is packed with traditions we love. One of those traditions? Holiday performances and in Salt Lake City, Rise Up School of Dance is adding its own creative spin to a classic.

A Nutcracker like No other

This year, Rise Up’s young dancers are preparing for an original production: Clara’s Storybook Nutcracker . Instead of receiving a Nutcracker doll, Clara is gifted a magical storybook from her godmother — Goose. The performance blends beloved Nutcracker scenes with whimsical nursery rhyme characters, creating a fresh take on a holiday favorite.
