A person has suddenly died at an M&S Foodhall, with police and paramedics rushing to the store.

Lancashire Police said there was a "sudden" death at the grocery store in Aughton Street, Ormskirk. The foodhall was closed while shoppers were asked to leave and staff were sent home early as emergency services attended the scene. Police confirmed there were "no suspicious circumstances" surrounding the death.

It is unclear whether the person who died was a member of staff or a customer.
