The Lincolns jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first period and held on for a 5-4 win before 602 fans at Chatham Memorial Arena.
“We just didn’t start on time,” Maroons defenceman Evan Krell said. “Those two games that we just played, they’re playoff games. For us not to be ready to go, it’s going to hurt us in the long run, especially (against) a good team like that.”
