A new online platform through which to stream movies is coming very soon, and this one will offer some very rare titles. Letterboxd is a movie discussion platform that launched in 2013 but surged in popularity during the pandemic, reaching its essential status for film aficionados of today. It now has 24 million members worldwide, who share, rate, and review their favorite movies.

Letterboxd has announced that the Letterboxd Video Store will launch on December 10, two days from now. This will be an online movie rental service, available in 23 countries. Upon its launch, with a transactional video-on-demand (TVOD) model, the Video Store will have nine movies, broken up across two curated "shelves". The store will offer some exclusive hits available nowhere else.
