Google’s newest Android Canary build is out, and 9to5Google reports that it includes early work from both Google and Apple to make moving your stuff between Android and iPhone a lot smoother.
The two companies say the improved transfer tools will show up right inside the setup process when you first turn on a new device.
The changes are starting to appear in Android Canary 2512 on all Pixel phones , while a matching update is headed to a future iOS 26 developer beta. Before everything officially launches, the new system will support more types of data and offer a more complete transfer experience.
Both companies warn that Canary and developer betas can be buggy, so they aren’t meant for everyday use. Google plans to bring these features to the regular Android Beta later on. There’s no c
