Red Sox aiming to poach talented pitcher from Yankees in free agency

The Boston Red Sox have made it clear already this offseason that they want to add talented arms to their pitching staff.

They could aim to add someone who just pitched for the New York Yankees if they want.

That pitcher: Luke Weaver.

The former starter, now a bullpen weapon, is available in free agency.

MLB.com's Manny Randhawa made the connection in a new article Monday that the Red Sox could be a good fit for Weaver.
