Cynthia Erivo is making Golden Globes history!

The 38-year-old actress received her second consecutive nomination for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy for her role in the Wicked movies at the 2026 Golden Globes .

With the two nominations, Cynthia is now the first Black woman to be recognized twice in this category.

After the historic nomination, Cynthia took to her Instagram Story to celebrate.
