Georgia state Sen. Colton Moore officially announced his bid for Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s (R-GA) House seat on Monday, pitching himself as a strong ally for President Donald Trump ahead of the 2026 elections.
Moore is the latest candidate to join the race for Greene’s seat, which includes former Federal Emergency Management Agency worker Star Black and teacher Jeff Criswell , among others. Greene announced in November that she would resign on Jan. 5, 2026 , after she and Trump ended their alliance in various public statements.
