ALLEN PARK — Ever since the Detroit Lions and Los Angeles Rams swapped starting quarterbacks in March 2021, there’s been non-stop debate about whether both teams benefited.
According to Lions coach Dan Campbell, they did.
As the Lions gear up for their electrifying Week 15 face-off against the Rams, Campbell reflected on a deal that dramatically altered the destinies of both franchises.
After a 12-season stint in Detroit, the Lions sent Matthew Stafford to Los Angeles in exchange for Jared Goff, two first-rounders (2022, 2023), and a 2021 third-round selection.
