Baldwinsville, N.Y. ― State Police on Monday released the name of a woman who was killed in a hit-and-run accident in Baldwinsville early Sunday morning.
The woman is Tammy Langford-Michel, 53, of Baldwinsville, according to troopers.
Around 5:50 a.m. Sunday, a 911 caller reported a woman was down on Downer Street, according to Onondaga County 911 Center dispatches.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her injuries were consistent with being hit by a vehicle, troopers said.
The victim was found on Downer Street east of the intersection of Crego Road and Sun Meadows Way, according to Trooper Jennifer Jiron, a spokesperson for State Police.
The woman had left a nearby Dunkin’ Donuts around 5:39 a.m. and walked for about two minutes before troopers believe she was hit by a car.
