Jimmy Kimmel is sticking around as host for Jimmy Kimmel Live! until at least part of the way through 2027.

The new contract reportedly keeps him on air with the ABC late night show until May 2027. Deadline reports that it seems like this would be his last contract with the show, as he’s often hinted at retiring .

This renewal is noteworthy because of what happened earlier in the year as well. Back in September, ABC pulled Jimmy Kimmel Live! off the air for 6 days following comments the 57-year-old late-night host made in the wake of right-wing podcaster Charlie Kirk ‘s death.

Days later, ABC released a statement and shared Jimmy would be allowed back on the air, giving that show the biggest ratings they had in years .
