SUPERIOR, Wis. (Northern News Now) -A man who police say shot a Superior police officer during a traffic stop has been charged with attempted murder and other felonies.

Dylan Wallace, 28, made his first court appearance via Zoom in Douglas County Court this afternoon, where he was charged with several felonies, including attempted murder.

The shooting happened around 2:45 a.m. Sunday at Tower Avenue and 37th Street. Police were conducting a traffic stop in response to a possible domestic incident.
