Srinagar, Dec 9: A senior Army officer on Monday directed troops deployed in Doda district of Jammu division to remain alert and maintain a firm, consistent operational posture amid continued terror activity in the region.

According to the Army, General Officer Commanding (GOC) White Knight Corps, Lt Gen P K Mishra, issued the directions during his visit to Gandoh, a remote area in the hilly district, where he reviewed the ground situation, operational readiness, and overall security dynamics. He was accompanied by Maj Gen A P S Bal, General Officer Commanding of the Counter-Insurgency Force (Delta).
