Countess Spencer won’t have to pay her husband’s alleged mistress for leaking private details about her health.

Archeologist Professor Catrine Jarman — the alleged mistress of Earl Spencer who now the earl’s girlfriend — sued Spencer’s wife in 2024, claiming that the countess had spilled that Jarman has MS.

But new documents from London’s High Court show that Jarman and the countess have settled the matter, but the court ordered the earl to cough up cash to cover the costs of litigating Jarman’s claim against the countess — which are expected to run over $2.5 million — including damages due to Jarman of about $6,000.
