LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - A British medical manufacturing company is opening its North American Headquarters for GLVUS (pronounced glove-U.S.) in Louisville. The move represents a $5.8 million investment with plans to create 200 jobs in 10 years manufacturing surgical gloves.
“At some point everybody in America, everybody in Kentucky is going to end up in the hospital getting care from a doctor,” Democratic Representative Morgan McGarvey of Kentucky’s Third Congressional District, said after the announcement. “These are the high-quality gloves that our doctors and surgeons use in taking care of people.”
