MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — West Virginia Public Theatre will bring a classic performance to the Creative Arts Center this December with a stage production of It’s a Wonderful Life, the beloved holiday story adapted from Frank Capra’s 1946 film. The show will run for five performances Dec. 13–19 at the Lyell B. Clay Concert Theatre.
The production follows George Bailey, a selfless resident of Bedford Falls whose dreams of travel and adventure give way to a life of service to his family and neighbors. When a Christmas Eve crisis pushes him to despair, his guardian angel, Clarence, intervenes to show him how profoundly he has impacted the lives around him.
