A Connecticut man is accused of fatally stabbing a man and a woman inside a Massachusetts home before taking his own life, authorities said.

Kung Kedjumnong, 43, of West Hartford, is believed to have murdered the two inside a Springfield home on Nov. 25 before killing himself, the Hampden District Attorney's Office announced Monday, Dec. 8.

The victims were identified as Khamkieo Chingvacha, 67, of Springfield, and Sachivanh Phomphanh, 47, of West Hartford, the prosecutor's office said.

The district attorney's office offered no further details, and officials declined to say whether or how the three knew one another. Several social media posts referenced a possible domestic violence situation, though police have not confirmed those reports.

Springfield Police Public Information Officer Ryan Walsh said the stabbings were reported in the 1400 block of State Street shortly before 10 a.m.

Public memorials have flooded social media for Connecticut's Sachivanh Phomphanh.

"(Sachivanh's) remarkable warmth, generosity, and sense of humor will be deeply missed," Daravanh Phomphanh Viravouth posted on Facebook. "Though she may be gone, her memory will live on. The family is grateful for your support during this difficult time and asks that you share memories of our beloved Sachivanh Phomphanh. Farewell until we meet again."

The alleged double-murder-suicide remains under active investigation.
